PROGRAMS
The Strongest Link: the Couple--six two hour sessions of marriage education in which couples learn to identify the personal values and needs of themselves and their partner, as well as their goals for the couple, how to strengthen communication skills and how to practice cooperative problem solving. Sessions provide opportunity to interact, share ideas and practice skills. The six sessions are: 1. Getting Started 2. Being a Strong Team 3. Two Worlds--One Relationship 4. Know What You Want 5. Say and Get What You Want and 6. Blowing on the Embers. The sessions are free, child care and meals are provided. 6:30 to 8:30 pm
The Marriage Round Table: Those who have taken the six week marriage education sessions are invited to a round table discussion about what is working and not working in their marriage. The discussion will focus on what other skills and tools a couple could use to strengthen their marriage. This is held on the third Thursday of the month.6:30 to 8:30 pm
Quenching the Fathers Thirst: This is a curriculum that helps dads who are not with their children to be better connected, more supportive and deeply involved in the lives of their children. The sessions will begin later on this fall.
